Tomato season will soon be upon us, so it’s only appropriate for the CSA meeting this month to be about Tomatoes. And maybe after this
meeting, you’ll be inspired to get a Bulk Tomato Share (if you don’t have one)!

10am – gather (the Sky Room Café won’t be open till noon, so
feel free to bring your own beverages/snacks/brunch)
10:15am – Good Eats episode entitled Tomatoes (which is a
strange episode title for Alton Brown as it’s so straightforward and simple)
11am – chat about Tomatoes and anything CSA-related, and
raffle drawing
This episode of Good Eats goes over the basics of all things
Tomato PLUS recipes for Stuffed Tomatoes (without getting soggy), a Baked
Tomato Sauce (news to me 😊), and a BLT Salad (as
opposed to a sandwich). Attendees will get copies of the recipes.
There will be a raffle, and all who attend will
automatically be entered.
