Great general ideas of how to use and store your Cabbage (if stored properly should last in the fridge from 3 weeks to 2 months…if you have a root cellar it could last for six months if stored properly)…

Here’s 18 very different ways to use Cabbage in cooking (from simplest to a bit more complicated)…

Though some recipes might suggest a particular kind of Cabbage (Napa, etc.), you can use any Green Cabbage for any Green Cabbage, and maybe need to tweak the recipe in terms of timing (a lighter Cabbage like Napa might take shorter to cook than our Green Cabbage but it also depends on how you cut it). If you have a mandoline, you can cut it so thin that it would probably cook the same as any other kind of Cabbage.
