Memorial Day Weekend is next weekend! That’s the start of BBQs and family gatherings and what’s better than celebrating with Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Steaks and Ribs from Dines Farm (and anything else they have). You need to pre-order to make sure that when you show up at the CSA this week, Dines Farm hasn’t run out of what you want.

Otherwise the farm won't know WHO placed the order, WHERE TO CALL in case you're running late or haven't shown up (it happens...people forget) and WHERE the order should end up.

Payment is made when you pick up your order this week. Acceptable for payment are cash, a check, or a debit/credit card.

Why: The better business is for Dines, the more likely they will continue to travel from Albany to Huntington. Please spread the word amongst family and friends as you don't have to be a CSA member to buy from Dines Farm!
Ice Cream anybody? If you’re a member of the Cinema Arts Centre and stop by this weekend to see a movie (not sure if they’ll have them starting Friday or Saturday), they’re giving away coupons (not sure if it’s a discount or buy one get one free) for Herrell’s Ice Cream store. It’s not organic but it’s local, made fresh daily, and they try and use quality ingredients. It you haven’t been, they have quite an amazing selection of constantly changing flavors. Tonight, I treated myself to Coconut Chocolate Chip and Espresso To Go (with Almonds, Fudge Swirl and I think Choco Chips) in a cup, and my partner Dylan had the Dulce de Leche. If you go, they allow two flavor tastings per person (otherwise, you’d be there all night checking out all the flavors).
